Privacy, in plain sight.
Privacy policy for Tiny Anvil Productions, Meatball Mayhem, and tinyanvil.net.
Effective November 3, 2026 · The game is currently in development. This policy describes the current game and its planned App Store purchase integration.
The essentials: Your gameplay progress is stored on your device. The game has no advertisements, no studio login, and no separate gameplay analytics service. Apple and Unity process information to support purchases. If you contact us, we receive the information you send.
1. Information on your device
Meatball Mayhem stores coins, collected foods, tools, worlds, trophies, preferences, tutorial progress, and remaining sauce locally on your device. It also stores local purchase-entitlement information and transaction records so it can manage full-game access. We have not implemented a studio account system or game-progress cloud synchronization.
Using Start Over resets active gameplay progress and may retain local recovery copies. It does not cancel your purchase or erase records held by Apple or Unity. Removing the app can remove its local data. Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings.
2. App Store purchases and Unity
Apple handles App Store checkout, payment processing, purchase history, refunds, and purchase restoration. Tiny Anvil Productions does not receive your payment-card number or Apple Account password. Apple may provide purchase records and sales reports. See Apple’s privacy information.
The game uses Unity In-App Purchasing. Unity processes purchase events, device and application identifiers, and technical information to operate purchasing and provide revenue reporting. This can include transaction and product identifiers, purchase value and currency, application and session identifiers, device and operating-system details, language and locale, and country derived from an IP address. This purchasing-related collection is separate from a gameplay analytics service.
Unity may process information on our behalf and for purposes described in its own policies. See Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy and Unity’s purchasing privacy overview. No advertising SDK or separate Unity Analytics package is included in the game.
3. Website visits and support messages
This website is hosted with OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Loading it necessarily sends connection and request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request time, to the hosting infrastructure to deliver and protect the site. Our website code does not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, contact forms, or tracking cookies. Hosting providers may process operational or security information under their own terms and policies: OpenAI and Cloudflare.
If you email nate@tinyanvil.net, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide. We use that information to answer you, troubleshoot problems, and handle privacy requests. Our support email is managed with Google Workspace. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary personal information.
4. Why information is used and shared
Information is used to provide the website and game, validate and restore purchases, resolve support requests, protect services, and meet applicable legal obligations. Service providers process information needed for their functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
Tiny Anvil Productions does not sell support correspondence or use it to target advertising. Information handled by Apple, Unity, Google, and our hosting providers may be processed in countries other than yours under their respective arrangements and policies.
5. Retention
Local gameplay records remain on your device until changed or removed; recovery copies and device backups may last longer than the active save. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the request, maintain relevant support records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of information we hold, subject to those obligations. Apple, Unity, Google, and hosting providers retain information under their applicable policies and legal requirements. Resetting the game does not delete their records.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can contact us to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, or a complaint to a relevant privacy authority. We may need enough information to verify and locate your request, but we will not ask for your Apple password or full payment-card details.
For information Unity processes on our behalf, contact us and we will coordinate the request where appropriate. For information Unity handles independently, use Unity’s privacy request process. For Apple-managed account and purchase information, use Apple’s privacy tools. Deletion requests do not automatically cancel or refund an App Store purchase.
7. Younger players
Meatball Mayhem is an all-ages sensory sandbox. It does not ask players to create a studio account, enter their name or age, or use social messaging. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information. If you believe unnecessary personal information about a child has been sent to us, please let us know so we can address it. Apple’s purchase controls and Ask to Buy can help families manage purchases.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required. Links to third-party services lead to services with their own privacy practices.
